On April Fools Day we are going to start started walking across the country on the American Discovery Trail. Our route starts at Cape Henlopen State Park in Delaware and terminates at Point Reyes, California.
Our comprehensive plan has two phases: don't quit for two weeks, see how it goes.
We'll be posting updates on progress or otherwise on the blog including links to our google map of the route.
If you see us give us a bath. Your neighbors will thank you.

We try to help hikers who pass this way but can't find any contact info. We are currently hiking the ADT across WV an evening or day at a time, heading east. You can check us out at trailjournals.com.

ReplyDeleteYou are off to a great start! I am glad to read that the blister problem seems to be improving. Take it slow and think of how fit you'll be after a few months of hiking!
Rick, they've given me notice at DB. Maybe I'll take my daughter out of school and join you on the trail!

ReplyDeleteTow path looks lovely... Note that it is 100% acceptable to sing "Erie Canal" when hiking C&O -- if you've heard otherwise, you've heard wrong.
